Events & Rentals

There are three types of rentals: Member, Non-member and Commercial. All rentals require a minimum 48 hours' notice; cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice will be subject to the full rental fee. Any rental requests of more than two hours must be approved by the UDSC Board of Directors.

"Prime times" are defined as after 6pm on weeknights and 9am-6pm on weekends and holidays. Rentals in prime times are limited to regular members and board approved commercial rentals.  

Member Rentals: Regular members of the Uniacke Dog Sport Club may rent the barn to a maximum of two hours for exclusive use of the facility. Multiple regular members may be included in the same rental without additional fees. If guests attend (including Associate Members), the guests are subject to guest guidelines and fees. The member rental fee is $25/hr plus $5 per guest per hour or $200 for a day (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.)

Non-Member Rentals: UDSC Associate Members and/or other members of the agility community may request non-prime time rentals for personal use. Non-members may not rent during prime times. Guests may join the renter but are subject to guest guidelines and fees. All parties to the rental must be named on the rental agreement and must sign a waiver of liability agreement each time they rent. The non-member rental fee is $35/hr plus $5 per guest per hour. 

Commercial Rentals: Commercial rentals include bookings for classes; private lessons; and events. The instructor/event host must be the renter and must provide proof of liability insurance. Students of instructors or event participants in commercial rentals are not guests and do not require a UDSC waiver of liability as the instructor/host insurance must cover them. Commercial rentals include members who are renting the barn for commercial gain. All commercial rentals must include any time required for set-up/tear down and are subject to Board approval. Commercial rental fees are $35/hr; $550/day for agility events (7 a.m. - 5 p.m.) and $400/day for all other events.
