Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice, provided in writing to rentals@uniackedogsportclub.com, will be charged the rental fee. Exceptional circumstances will be considered if a request to do so is submitted with the cancellation notice.
Dogs showing signs of a communicable respiratory illness (including coughing, sneezing, nasal or eye discharge, fever, lethargy, or labored/noisy breathing) should not use barn facilities. Examples of concern include kennel cough/respiratory disease complex, canine influenza, and similar contagious respiratory infections. Dogs may return to barn use only after they have been completely symptom‑free for 10 consecutive days, to help protect other dogs using the facility.
In the event of a circumstance that affects the renter’s use of the training space, the renter agrees to respect the terms and the agreed-upon duration of the rental agreement. The renter agrees that changes to the terms and time of the rental will not be assumed or accommodated during the rental. The renter agrees that decisions about potential compensation will be made by the UDSC Board or a board member after the rental has concluded.
Regular members have paid annual member dues which include barn usage privileges. Member rentals are to individual members who pay the member rate for exclusive use of the facility for a defined time frame. Multiple regular members may be included in the same rental without additional fees. If guests attend (including Associate Members), the guests are subject to guest guidelines and fees.
"Prime times" are defined as after 6 p.m. on weeknights and 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends and holidays. Rentals in prime times are limited to regular members and board-approved commercial rentals. Private prime -time rentals are subject to the following restrictions:
Rental requests of more than two hours are not allowed in prime time
Prime time bookings may be made every second week by members.
Prime time rental requests may be made a maximum of two months prior to the month in which the booking(s) will occur, i.e. Nov. 1 for January bookings, etc. If, at the beginning of the month, other times have not been taken, then those times are open to be booked for the remainder of the month
Prime time requests are subject to block booking restrictions if the bookings will limit other members' access
Any non-prime time rental requests of more than two hours must be approved by the UDSC Board of Directors.
Non-member renters will be provided instructions on how to access key to facility.
Renters are expected to monitor their dogs while in the barn and not allow them to relieve themselves inside the barn. If a dog eliminates on equipment, renters are expected to clean the affected area/equipment.
Renters are free to move equipment as needed, however before leaving must ensure that the A-frame and dogwalk are left in usable positions per this diagram and other equipment is easily accessible.
Renters are expected to treat all equipment with care. Any damage must be reported immediately to board@uniackedogsportclub.com
Please use the washrooms gently: do not flush paper towels, feminine hygiene products etc. Do not use sinks to wash out toys etc.
The back door is for emergencies only. It is not to be used to take dogs out or used as a non-emergency exit.
The barn must be fully secured when you leave; all lights off, doors to washrooms closed, and barn locked. Barn must never be left unattended while unlocked.
For any issues requiring immediate attention, including broken equipment, weather-related property damage or vandalism, no heat or water in the bathrooms, etc., please post to the UDSC Member Facebook group highlighting the issue and tag as many board members as possible.
Should events occur which cause the barn facility to not be available to rent, UDSC reserves the right to cancel the rental.

Non-Member Rentals: UDSC Associate Members and/or other members of the agility community may request non-prime time rentals for personal use. Rentals include exclusive use of the facility and UDSC practice equipment. The facility does not have potable water or WiFi.

Guests may join the renter but are subject to guest guidelines and fees. All parties to the rental must be named on the rental agreement and must sign a waiver of liability agreement every six months or as requested by UDSC.
The Board reserves the right to limit the number of block bookings if it is felt that these restrict member use of certain time periods.

Commercial Rentals: Commercial rentals are those in which the renter is generating revenue for themselves by teaching or by hosting an event for which participants pay a fee.
The instructor/event host must be the renter and must provide proof of at least $2M liability insurance.
Students of instructors or event participants in commercial rentals are not guests and do not require a UDSC waiver of liability as the instructor/host insurance must cover them.
Commercial renters include UDSC members who are renting the barn for commercial gain.
All commercial rentals must include any time required for set-up/tear down and are subject to Board approval regardless of date or time.
Hourly commercial rentals include exclusive use of the facility and UDSC practice equipment. The facility does not have potable water or WiFi.
Commercial rentals for events include exclusive use of the facility and AAC and UKI trial-approved equipment as well as all other trial supplies specified in the rental agreement
